August 2013 Stork Stack Review~Splish Splash! Bed and Bath!

I got my August Stork Stack last week but we went away for the weekend so I didn’t really look at it! So now that we are home here is my review for the Splish Splash! Bed and Bath! stack.

Stork Stack is a monthly subscription box service for children up to age 3. Each month you receive a box based on your child’s age(or your month of pregnancy from the 3rd trimester). We have been getting this box since spring and have gotten a lot of nice items I wouldn’t have thought to buy or even known about.

This month the theme of our items was definitely the bath.

The first item in the box is an Odd Duck from Boon. We got an Odd Duck in a Citrus Lane box a couple of months ago so we knew how cute they were already and luckily this one is a different color. You can never have enough rubber ducks! The Odd Duck is different than your typical rubber ducky though because it has no hole for the nasties to grow. Odd Ducks are all different shapes and colors. Mason loves his other Odd Duck so I know he will love this one too.

Retail price:  $8.49

Amazon price: $6.99

The next item in our box is a Rich Frog Wacky Wash Mitt. Its cute. I usually just use wash cloths for baths but I am sure Mason will enjoy playing with this and you can use it like a puppet.

Retail price: $5.95

Amazon price: This one is a little tricky. They had various mitts ranging from $3.50 to $10. I would definitely not pay $10 for this mitt but the $4-5 range maybe.

The next item is a bath book. “Hello Baby Bathtime”  I always love getting any kind of book for my kids so this is something I am happy about.  It is soft and squishy and will be good for the bath or for him to just hold and chew.

Retail Price: $5.99

Amazon price: $5.39

We also got a full size bottle of Bionee Body Caress. We haven’t used it yet but from the Bionee website: Soothing and regenerating natural ingredients offer a gentle caress and ultimate care for the baby’s skin. The vegetal complex rich in Omega elements, vitamins and minerals that act to protect, nourish and sooth baby’s skin. Perfect for active babies: spreads easily and absorbs quickly!
99.85% natural – 13.19% organic

I always like getting baby lotions that are good for their skin and natural. I should have tried it out myself.

Retail price: $15.00

Stork Stack also sends mom treats. This month it is a Chivas Bath Salts.  Now I often only have barely enough time for showering so bath salts don’t work for me but it gives instructions for if you don’t take baths.

Retail price: $4.00

Amazon price: $4.00

IMG_2549Total retail price for this month: $39.43

Total Amazon(Bionee wasn’t available anywhere but$35 This one was harder because the bath mitt also was not available but others were. I think, overall this was a great box! I feel like we got our money’s worth and everything in the box will definitely be used. Stork Stack costs $27.99 a month with free shipping. Sign up and save $10 using referral code 023C9FB7
